blue stripes

June 14, 2017

As I was trying to come up with something interesting to say about this post,
I realised that I hadn't had an all black styling for some time.

I blame SS17 season. It's all about flowers, stripes and bright colours right now. I steer away from
yellow and red flowers, but stripes are actually quite my style.

Hence, this beautifully weird long shirt (or dress). I'm hoping it will serve me well through
 this summer.

skin breathe

June 8, 2017

Concrete jungle heat is on.

Loose fit clothes are on high rotation and I couldn't be happier (not that I wear slim fit on a daily
basis;). It's funny how proper air circulation around your skin can make you feel so good.
The lightness of the clothes is irreplaceable and the fact that nothing sticks to your skin is indeed
very cooling.

modern art

May 28, 2017

As you may have noticed, I don't like using many words. Images are my form of communication.
I don't feel the need of explaining you my styling or give you tips on how to dress. This is not that
 kind of a fashion blog.

I do feel the need to express myself, create and inspire... through images.
Lines, combination of colours, light and shadow game, texture, lines (yes, I know I already
mentioned lines;) - every photo should be a piece of modern art. At least that's what I'm striving for:)
Especially when the clothes I'm wearing are pure high fashion art.

cotton, gold and braided bag

May 21, 2017

Summer in the city is my favourite time of year, despite the heat and tourist wave.
Once in a while I like to add some rustic vibes to mix things up a little and to experience
the feeling of not wearing pants;)
I have to admit, it's a strange feeling and it takes time to get used to,
but once the summer breeze starts cooling my whole body, it's so liberating.

still life

May 15, 2017

Still Life collection by Kinga Kasińska, a young SAPU graduate, caught my eye during
the last Cracow Fashion Week. This time, I had the pleasure to style one of her beautiful bags.
A small, but powerful piece that made the whole outfit.

The collection is very cohesive and all the pieces look great together,
but they also look perfect on their own with your favourite day-to-day outfits.
I hope I get a chance to show you more of Kinga Kasińska's designs. In the meantime,
you can check her collection (and more) on her official Facebook page.

P.S. On a totally different note, check out the shadow in the last photograph;)

The five: simple, comfort, modern, functional, individual.

05/studio - a young Bulgarian brand that focuses on minimal underwear.

Their design is so close to my everyday approach, that I decided to break my "no underwear feature" rule.
Because it's more than just underwear. It's everything the five represent.

I'm not a shiny person so I don't wear shiny shoes very often. But when I do,
it has to be balanced with something completely opposite.
Enters hobo style sweater.
Shiny look from head to toe is something I will probably never do, but mixing styles
is the thing I do every day.
So when ALDO sends me a pair of extremely comfortable metallic heels, I'm thinking wide pants,
ripped sweater and a large tote.

tan and eggshell

April 24, 2017

Colour shades and tones in fashion are a tricky thing nowadays.
It's hard to keep up with the subtle differences, let alone with their names.
Electric blue is one of my favourites so far (the name, of course),
but this week it's all about tan and eggshell (although late afternoon light makes that tan
look blush;). It takes one great bag to open up to this
combo and my colour matching awareness has just shifted to another level.
